Kallis was bought for $1.1 million by the Knight Riders in 2011 and has retained his place in the squad ever since. Kallis is one of the most consistent players for the Knight Riders, being the best batsman in 2011 and among the top three in 2012 and 2013. Kallis also played an instrumental role in Knight Riders’ 2012 victory and now he is monitoring team as the mentor as he resigned as the team player
